2000 California State Science Fair
Projects by Fair

The following table lists the projects recorded in the CSSF database according to the fair which they represent. The "Project Count" now includes all projects from each fair which have been accepted from that fair. Where that count formerly exceeded a fair's allocation given next to it, then projects from that fair were accepted in the following order until the allocation limit was reached:

  1. Projects whose applications are postmarked by their affiliated fair's Application Deadline and were selected by the fair as "Qualified";
  2. Projects whose applications are postmarked by their affiliated fair's Application Deadline and were named as "Alternate," taken in order of the priority given by that fair;
  3. Projects whose applications are postmarked after their affiliated fair's Application Deadline (whether "Qualified" or "Alternate") taken in order of postmark.
In the case of team projects, the postmark date for the project is the earliest postmark by any member of the team.
